Article Two Image How Our Price Match Policy Works for You

At The Centre for Personal Surgery, we believe that beauty doesn't have to come with a high price tag. Our price match policy ensures that you receive the best result in a safe facility at a price that matches any other written quotation you present from another plastic surgeon.

Dr. Weiglein is one of the few plastic surgeons in Burlington, Ontario, with over 20 years of experience in breast, body and facial cosmetic surgery. We pride ourselves on being the best; not the most expensive.

Article Three Image Celebrating 15 Years: A Look Back in Beauty

It's our birthday! This year, Cosmedica is celebrating 15 years of excellence, experience, knowledge and skills as more than just another med spa in Burlington. Cosmedica started in 1998 providing non-surgical medical treatments such as laser skin resurfacing, chemical peels and permanent hair removal.

In honor of our anniversary, we thought it would be interesting to look at the evolution of cosmetic medicine over the last 15 years. Here are a few highlights:

• Words like BOTOX®, Restylane®, and JUVÉDERM® are so common today that we forget they are very recent advances in cosmetic medicine. It was just over 10 years ago, in 2002, that the FDA approved BOTOX COSMETIC to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows.

• Collagen has been around for decades to replace lost facial volume, but it requires pre-testing for allergic reaction. In the last 10 years, an explosion of synthetic filler products has made it possible to achieve very dramatic aesthetic changes without downtime or skin irritation.

Skin care products now contain active medical-grade ingredients to promote collagen growth and lighten, brighten and tighten the skin. These products can now be used safely in combinations unimagined 15 years ago.

Congratulations to our Cosmedica staff – Margie, Tracy and Nancy – for continuing to provide excellence, experience and safety when helping those of us who want to look as young as we feel.
