Our Surgical Centre
All of the cosmetic plastic surgery procedures Dr. Weiglein performs for patients from Hamilton, Oakville, Brantford, and other nearby areas take place in our private Burlington Surgical Centre. The Centre is a Level III inspected and accredited facility under the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario Out-of-Hospital-Premises (OHP) program. Our inspection grade was a perfect score.

Knowledgeable Staff
All nursing staff members have many years of experience in their respective fields of practice from the operating room to the recovery and post-op care areas. Most importantly, they are caring and enthusiastic individuals who truly enjoy working with our patients. The Centre for Personal Surgery is not a public hospital, but a private facility dedicated to providing the best in cosmetic surgeries. We also offer a state-of-the-art nonsurgical suite upstairs at Cosmedica.
Our anaesthesia providers are all fellowship trained FRSPC or board-certified medical specialists who strive to provide the best anaesthetic and post-anaesthetic experience possible.
Dedication to Safety
Although often invisible to the patient, a significant portion of our efforts centers on their safety. This starts with patient selection: If your health status makes it unsafe to have a procedure, we will not proceed. While this policy can produce disappointment, it always prevents harm; patients eventually appreciate that this is in their best interests. We continuously monitor a variety of other safety precautions, including:
- Facility cleanliness
- Instrument handling
- Sterilization monitoring
- Hand-washing protocols
Patient safety is an ongoing process, not a destination; all surgical staff members participate in ongoing educational updates, and BCLS and ACLS accreditation. Prospective patients and their caregivers are always welcome to tour the facility.

Our Facility
The Centre for Personal Surgery and Cosmedica’s nonsurgical suite are equipped with all the necessary tools required to carry out any of the current cosmetic procedures from liposuction to laser resurfacing.
All equipment undergoes regular biomedical engineering inspection by a certified inspector. Backup equipment is available for all monitoring devices used. We have a natural gas-fuelled standby electrical generator in the event of a power outage.
Finally, our facility is located just minutes from the local hospital where Dr. Weiglein holds an Active Surgical Staff appointment.
