The Centre for Personal Surgery was designed and built from the ground up to provide for these needs in a smart, modern and comforting architecturally designed space. That's why we named it the Centre for Personal Surgery - it's all about you and your needs.

The Center is not a hospital
People who have cosmetic surgery are not ill. And not everyone needs cosmetic surgery. Hospitals concentrate on dealing with illness. Our Centre deals with physically and psychologically healthy individuals and helps them to take control of their lives through the power of cosmetic surgical rejuvenation.

We are serious about your safety
The Centre is inspected and fully accredited by the Canadian Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (CAAASF). To maintain accreditation, member facilities must provide evidence that the standards set out by CAAASF are adhered to in the day-to-day workings of the surgical unit. This is accomplished by written reports and periodic inspections. The aim of the Canadian Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities is to protect the public.

The Centre is a free standing self contained building near the center of Burlington, Ontario. It opened in 1993. A custom built free standing building was deliberately chosen to avoid the confidentiality problems associated with commercial buildings, their traffic and their public elevators. All procedures are carried out within the Centre. Those clients who would benefit from an overnight stay following their procedure are provided with one to one nursing care.

There is no need for a hospital stay
The Centre specializes exclusively in cosmetic procedures and anti-aging therapeutics. We don't just do cosmetic surgery- it is the only thing that we do. We are not distracted by all the other procedures non specialized plastic surgeons are involved with. This results in a better outcome for our clients because of our single minded focus on their cosmetic surgical needs. It's simple - we do one thing and we do it very well. And we enjoy providing these services.

We have more experience
Only experienced certified anesthetists are selected as our Anaesthesia Care Providers. Naturally, Dr. Weiglein and the Nursing staff are BCLS / ACLS certified. The staff participates in ongoing upgrading through professional courses and learning opportunities on a continuous basis. Dr. Weiglein has active staff privileges at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital. He is a fully trained and certified plastic surgeon. That's why we offer a wide range of non surgical procedures from Botox® injections to the non-surgical FAVORLIFT© to Epilight® Hair removal through Cosmedica® Professional Skin Care Centres Inc.
