The Centre for Personal Surgery is not a hospital. Hospitals concentrate on dealing with illness. We deal with physically and psychologically health individuals and help them take control of their lives through the power of cosmetic surgical rejuvenation..

So, we need to know what it is that bothers you before offering a solution. You'll consult with Dr Weiglein about your concerns and he'll suggest solutions to address your particular problem. Also, he'll want to get to know you, the person you are, and the expectations you have. You'll want to get to know him as a trustworthy cosmetic surgeon that you can relate to.

Then you'll have more questions about the pre and post operative details. When can you schedule? How long before you can return to your normal schedule. How much does this cost? You'll want to see before and after pictures of people like you. And, if you are considering breast augmentation - how do I pick my size?

Josie, our Patient Coordinator of over ten years, is your resource person for everything. She will be your "go to" person before your surgery date. You will go home with a detailed medical package of information to consider before you decide to go ahead.

What about your health? What's your history? Is this safe for you to do? Dr Weiglein and his specialized nurse, Dorothy, will assess you, see you for all pre and post operative rechecks, and ensure you a safe, efficient and patient centered experience.

Who's the anaesthetist? Not the surgeon. Anaesthetists here are all Specialist (Certified) Anaesthetists in Ontario and are selected by Dr Weiglein for their medical expertise and sensitivity to the unigue needs of the cosmetic patient.

Is there anyone else in the operating theater? Nancy assists Dr Weiglein as a nurse surgical assistant with over 20 years experience. When he says, "suture, please," she already has it in hand.

Who is making sure I have just enough and not too much comfort in the recovery room? Teressa, our experienced recovery RN, is there to provide comfort, reassurance and a good chat. Unfortunately, you may not remember her or your conversation but can trust her discretion and competence in the recovery room.

We assure you that we are a whole team of experienced and caring people who you can trust to give you the look you want.

Consultation takes about an hour and we charge $100 which is credited to your surgery if you book with Dr Weiglein.
