The Thigh Lift can be thought of as a "panty hose" operation.

It puts tension on the thigh skin in a vertical direction by surgically removing skin, much like pulling up on a pair of panty hose will correct sagging around the knees.

Procedure

The Thigh Lift involves an incision and resulting scar following the front and back of your underwear leg line. It is usually combined with liposuction to reduce the bulk of the leg as well.

Thigh Reduction reduces the size and circumference of the the thigh by removing skin along the inner part of the thigh from groin to knee. The result is a visible scar when wearing shorts or bathing wear. The results can be very gratifying however, and patients usually prefer the scar to the pre operative appearance of their legs. Liposuction is usually carried out at the same time or combined with an abdominoplasty procedure.
